Check out Malaysia's nine-day festival of arts and music.

This Nov 16-24Urbanscapes will return to Malaysia's capital for a massive, citywide exposition of the arts.

Now in its 17th year, the festival will see venues across Kuala Lumpur play host to music, film, visual and performance art events, and this year some pretty big indie names are taking part.

International music artists include Norweigian indie pop-rock singer-songwriter Boy Pablo, Taiwan's Sunset Rollercoaster and Singapore's on Nov 21;  American synth-pop singer-songwriter Cuco, British psychedelic four-piece Glass Animals and New York indie pop band The Drums on Nov 24, plus many more (ticked priced at MYR219/B1,590).

Among the host of other artistic offerings, don’t miss the installation by State Sensor, a Singapore-based duo known for electronic media and architectural projection mapping, and The Rogue Festival, a creative campaign for volunteerism, social work and education spearheaded by the YWCA KL.
