Cult skincare brand Drunk Elephant has finally landed in Singapore
Just in time for our Christmas wishlist: perfect skin
Highly lauded skincare brand from the States Drunk Elephant has reached our shores—launching exclusively at Sephora Singapore’s flagship at ION Orchard today (Nov 8). The Singapore launch marks the brand’s first outlet in Asia, after its most recent drop in the UK last month. And that can only mean one thing: Better skin days ahead for all of us.
Though started only in 2012 by Texas-born Tiffany Masterson, the brand has quickly gained a cult following thanks largely to Instagram word-of-mouth. The clean packaging with pops of color is an easy first draw, but what really got beauty fanatics raving was its non-toxic ingredients and philosophy. Free of silicones, chemical screens, and drying alcohols, the entire line is formulated on what Masterson calls “biocompatibility”—where ingredients either directly benefit the skin’s health or support the formulas.
Available in Singapore are the line’s bestsellers that include the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel ($74), Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser ($48), C-Firma Day Serum ($114), and Virgin Marula Oil ($102)—sworn by many as the brand’s best product. Prices range from $26 for a lip balm to $190 for a glycolic night serum. A good starter kit for newbies it the Littles Kit ($128), packed with eight minis of their best products for you to try before you really buy.
The Littles
For the uninitiated, don’t feel embarrassed if you previously thought Drunk Elephant was a hip new bar somewhere in Arab Street. The brand has capitalised on its quirky name to market its main concept—skincare smoothies or cocktails. Each product is formulated to mix and work with others in the line, so you can concoct your own recipes to achieve the perfect routine—without the step-by-step hassle of layering products. It might add up to a pricier-than-average cocktail, but hey; if it works, it works.
Drunk Elephant is now available online and at Sephora ION Orchard.
