Joan Cornella is having another solo exhibition in Bangkok
No subject is off-limits.
Joan Cornella, the Spanish cartoonist known for his colorful, cynical take on society, returns to Bangkok for another solo exhibition in November.
The aptly named Happy Endings exhibition will go on show at Sala Daeng's Woof Pack Building from Nov 9-Dec 3, promising more than 60 pieces (canvas works and sculptures) taking aim at the absurdities of modern society while exploring socially-inhibited topics.
The 37-year-old follows up his previous exhibition in Bangkok last year with a new collection that's said to contain pieces that specifically portray Thailand's current situation. Some works will debut here before exhibiting elsewhere around the world.
As before, there will be books, T-shirts, and canvas bags available for sale in limited quantities.
Nov 9-Dec 2, 11am-10pm. Woof Pack, Sala Daeng Soi 1. Entry B200.
