And we don’t know which version we like better.

Someone has turned the mega-sensation Fortune Cookie by the hit Thai girl band BNK48 into a song mocking Thailand's deputy prime minister, Prawit Wongsuwan, for his extravagant wristwear.

The Youtube channel of Komkhao TV24 (a satellite news channel that claims it's dedicated to democracy) originally posted the parody video under the title "The Fortune Cookie Song, Luxury Watch Version" (คุกกี้เสี่ยงทายเวอร์ชั่นแซวนาฬิกาหรู) on Jan 29.

In it, you see the scandal-plagued deputy P.M. superimposed into various scenes of the sugary-sweet music video, along with other members of the junta cabinet.

The lyrics also take aim at the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), which last week said that Prawit does not need to declare the watches he's been spotted wearing (valued at around US$1.2 million) if he borrowed them from friends.

“The NACC is now starting to lose our trust,” say the over-dubbed lyrics. "Whose money was it that you used to buy all those watches? We all know those are expensive as hell watches.”

The chorus maintains the song's original “come on, come on, come on, baby…” refrain, followed by, “Who is that friend?”

While the original Youtube clip had racked up 18,000 views by 4pm on Jan 31, it reached a far greater audience earlier that day when online sleuth CSI LA, which has been documenting the Prawit scandal, also shared the video.

The post was met with derision by CSI LA's thousands of followers. "I want to have friends like this!!! Who would lend me expensive watches and just die?" wrote one commenter, in an apparent allusion to an anonymous government source who told the mdeia that the friend who lent Prawit the watches had died.

"How f*cked up do you have to be to be borrowing your friend's luxurious watches then not returning them after your friend died?" wrote another.

Prawit Wongsuwan has made headlines daily for several weeks after photos surfaced on CSI LA that appear to show him wearing 25 different multi-million baht watches.

The girl group BNK48 had one of Thailand's greatest hits of 2017 with "Koisuru Fortune Cookie," which now has over 29 million views on Youtube.

Want to know the full lyrics? Here they are in English:

Wow, we found another wristband, even though you've got so much.
How did you get those? They look quite stylish.
Just wait and see,
if we will manage to catch this guy
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He has worn it normally,
but actually, it is not normal with its expensive price.
If people know, he will be screwed.
NACC starts to doubt it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A million questions are waiting for answers.
Where did you get the money from?
For those swanky wristwatches,
Hearing his answers,
He said he borrowed them from his friends,
But people won't buy it.
Come on, Come on, Come on Baby,
Who are your friends, really?
Richard Mille, Oh, that's so expensive.
Do you still have some more? Some wristband that might be hiding?
Hey, hey, hey, he might hide, we have to seek it.
There might be a lot of them underground.
Patek Phillipe, borrowed from his friends.
Which one of your dead friends was this generous?
Hey, hey, hey, your dead friend.
