The American folk singer's 2017 album was a fixture on year-end lists.

American folk singer-songwriter Julie Byrne will perform an intimate show in Bangkok on Feb 11

The Buffalo, New York-born artist's sparse, mostly acoustic second album, Not Even Happiness, scooped mentions in 2017 year-end lists from Pitchfork (#37) to the Guardian (#42) to Spin (#9).

Byrne's world tour in support of the album now brings her to Bangkok, where her show at Surasak's always-busy Jam bar (41 Charoen Rat Soi 1, 089-889-8059) will cost just B200 (tickets only available on the door).

We envisage the miniscule venue full to bursting. See the Facebook event page for more information.
