It's been 14 years since Bangkok last saw an on-the-bone cut of Certified Black Angus (CBA). Thanks to efforts by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and premium food importer Gourmet One, this fine meat is available in Thailand again.

On-the-bone CBA disappeared from Thailand's menus during the height of the BSE scare (otherwise known as mad cow disease), which prompted Thailand to ban imports of the beef. The disease has since been contained, but the meat was slow in returning.

For now, though, there's only one place where you can fill this steak-shaped absence: JW Marriott Hotel's New York Steakhouse. The beef is served in three cuts: a grilled CAB Prime T-Bone (22 oz) for B2,800, the Prime Porterhouse (32 oz) for B4,900 and the Prime Rib Bone In (26 oz) for B5,400.

All steaks come with two side dishes and in portions best shared between two.
