Asian rap is taking off and you should care.

88rising Asia Tour, a showcase of Asian hip-hop talent, is coming to Bangkok on Dec 6.

Performing at Muang Thai GMM Live House are Indonesian rap teen Rich Chigga, Chinese rap duo High Brothers and Japanese ambient talent Joji.

Rich Chigga came to fame on the back of a viral music video, “Dat $tick,” which now has over 76 million views on YouTube (see below). High Brothers' Chinese rap has also turned heads for their “WeChat” music video, where they collaborated with fellow 88rising member Keith Ape.

Behind the tour is artist management and media company 88rising, whose best-known name is Korean rapper Keith Ape, who counts among his collaborators on his 'It G Ma' single the American rapper A$AP Ferg. Unfortunately Keith Ape won't be making an appearance in Bangkok.

Tickets are B1,800 pre-sale, available here, or B2,000 at the door.

Muang Thai GMM Live House, 8/F, CentralWorld, 999/1 Rama 1 Rd.
