They're throwing a couple of workshops to celebrate.

After relocating to the States for 12 months, Thailand’s first brewery for kombucha, a fermented tea drink beloved of health nuts, is back.

Pure Luck (www.facebook.com/pureluckbangkok) has moved production from its gorgeous old Chinatown brewery (now Oneday Wallflower) to 80 rai of farmland near Pa La Au Waterfall in Hua Hin.

They offer nine regular flavors of probiotics-rich kombucha like Mr Oolong (made from Thai-grown organic oolong tea), Better than Cola and Miss Darjeeling, which can be ordered online at IG @pureluckbangkok in 12- or 30-packs (B1,320 or B3,150, plus delivery fee) or as individual bottles at at OleafOrganic store (Sukhumvit and Silom), Bumrungrad International Hospital and Grass Thonglor for around B120.

To announce the brand's return, founders and brewmasters Tibb Phungtham and Brett Casper will be hosting a pair of 2.5-hour kombucha-making workshops at The Commons (Thonglor Soi 17) on Jul 16 and 23. The cost is B3,600, which includes your own glass kombucha kit.
