Also featuring a "very serious" beer pong tournament.

Bangkok's getting a festival dedicated to American craft beers in July.

Thailand Brew Fest 2017 is organized by Smiling Mad Dog, who imports around 20 craft beer brands from the US, in collaboration with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Taking place at the leafy surrounds of Sukhumvit Soi 61's Quaint on Jul 7, the festival will let you taste over 50 American craft beers and ciders on tap from 12 different breweries including familiar names like Ballast Point, Flying Dog, Coronado and Evil Twin.

Early bird second-phase tickets are available for B755 at bit.ly/2tDsjYm, which gets you two beer coupons, one Thailand Brew Fest T-shirt and one glass. Door tickets are priced at B955.

On the day, you can also team up with two of your friends to participate in the 'The Very Serious Beer Pong Tournament' for a chance to win a draft beer party set and a keg of Ballast Point Unfiltered Sculpin IPA. Entry is B2,500 per team.

There will also be live music and entertainment from the likes of The Tabby and Plengprapan "Guitar" Gingthong and Friends, plus a DJ set from DJ Mong Sabadpan.

5pm. Quaint, 23 Sukhumvit Soi 61, 02-714-1998. Open daily 8am-midnight
