Lovers of chocolate can get more out of Godiva's newest lifestyle store
A first in Southeast Asia
At some point in your life, you’ve probably walked past luxury Belgian chocolate brand Godiva Chocolatier’s now-defunct little corner store in CityLink Mall, or even bought some chocolates for a special someone in your life. But much has happened since then—they’ve opened up seven other stores around the island, and most recently, unveiled a sexy-looking lifestyle concept café, the first in Southeast Asia.
Located in the basement of ION Orchard, the 140 sq. meter cafe adopts the design ethos of the brand’s signature gold, white and dark chocolates for its interior. The concept is nothing new in Singapore—Plentyfull has a selection of preservative-free products just outside of the restaurant section, while Muji's Cafe&Meal provide a respite from all that shopping from the store that’s right next door—you’ll actually be able to dine in and enjoy some Singapore-exclusive sweets at Godiva’s lifestyle concept store, such as the Belgium waffles ($14) and the super indulgent chocolate fondant ($14), as well as the crowd favorites Chocolixirs ($9) and variety of velvety soft serves ($9). You should also look out for their chocolate cakes and sinful chocolate fondue set (made using melted Godiva carre chocolates, $45), which come with a choice of fruits, macarons and marshmallows.
Godiva’s Chocolatier Cafe is now open at #B1-05 ION Orchard (open daily from 10am-10pm).
