Belgian chocolatier Godiva is finally opening a store in Bangkok
The brand brings with it 90 years of chocolate expertise.
Founded nearly a century ago, Belgium's Godiva is one of the world's most iconic chocolate brands. Now it's opening a store in Bangkok—that's according to a newly launched Facebook page for Godiva Thailand.
The details are still a little sketchy: one official Facebook post says the store will open in CentralWorld, while there are also reported sightings of a billboard at Siam Paragon claiming a December opening. Seems we could be in for a double treat come Christmas time—and we’re just happy we no longer have to ask our friends from abroad to smuggle home chocolates in their suitcases.
Godiva’s stores, which can already be found in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the likes, sell not only boxed chocolates but also incredibly photogenic soft-serve ice creams. Stay tuned for more!
