Taste the very finest from Japan's wine-making Hyogo prefecture.

From Jun 7-30Scarlett, the 37th-floor wine bistro with sweeping views of lower Silom and the river, serves special dishes made with prized Kobe beef from Japan's wine-making Hyogo prefecture.

The best time to visit is from Jun 7-11, when "master farmer" Takeshi Yamada stops by to give the inside scoop on how he feeds his cattle a mixture of corn, oats, wheat and grape pomace from the wine production process, resulting in a sweet lean taste with high marbling.

Taste Yamada's beef rare to medium-rare in beef carpaccio with imperial caviar and turnip mousse (B660), burger with red-wine caramelized onion, aioli, cheese and truffle fries (B1,100), or good old rib eye (B2,800) and rump (B1,900) steaks.
