There are some affordable burger deals happening this weekend in Singapore
$7 burgers anyone?
Singapore's love affair with this all-American fast food staple continues with an exciting food truck dishing out free burgers, a week-long cheap gourmet burger promotion and the launch of a world-famous (and value-for-money) New York burger chain. So forget over-hyped and over-priced buns—sink your teeth into these delicious hot deals.
To launch Hard Rock Cafe Singapore's Asian edition of the World Burger Tour, the iconic diner is kicking off the event with a food truck and a street side party complete with an army of Harvey Davidson bikers at Cuscaden Road from 4:00pm. They will be distritbuting 400 free Tropical burgers, which has goat's cheese, grilled pineapple, bacon, arugula and jalapeno mango salsa in a brioche bun. The food truck will then be moving to Malacca and four other cities around the region before returning to Singapore on May 22.
New York "speakeasy" burger chain has launched at Gemmill Lane's backalley last week, and this gritty diner is known for their unpretentious and authentic American-style buns, affordably priced from $13.10 for a hamburger to $15.80 for a bacon cheese burger. The restaurant's owners are fiercely proud of their recipe, which features freshly ground patties made from chilled Nebraska beef.
