Kamala Beach on Phuket’s west coast just welcomed the sleek Wabi Sabi Boutique Hotel Kamala Phuket (www.fb.com/wabisabiphuket). Located a five-minute walk from the beach, the hotel’s name is taken from the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, or the beauty in imperfection.

 

The five-story, all-suite hotel consists of 38 rooms ranging from 50-110 sq meters. The second phase of development will also see a wellness spa added to the rooftop offering programs such as tai chi, yoga and detox treatments. They will also offer in-room beauty and health treatments, too.

 

Opening rates start at B2,360 for the grand deluxe suite pool villa to B8,555 for  the family premier suite.
