Located on the charming Lamai Beach, the colonial-style Manathai Samui (www.manathai.com/samui), which opened just a few months ago, has come up with an enticing high-season deal. 

Through Dec 24, guests receive a 30-percent discount on best available room rates, meaning that a deluxe balcony room is B2,350 instead of the usual B3357, and the 200-sq-meter Manathai suite, boasting two seperate bedrooms and a dining area, is B9,892 instead of B14,131. That's a pretty sweet deal, considering that it's high season and they also throw in a complimentary daily breakfast and free shuttle services to and from the never-boring Chaweng Beach. 

The hotel's rooms feature lots of Thai touches in the form of lots of teak, rattan furniture and Jim Thompson silk cushions, while the property also boasts a beach-facing swimming pool.
