This year's edition has lots of masterclasses, whiskey tasters, pop-up bars and food pairings.

Whiskey lovers shouldn't miss this festival celebrating all things neat and peaty. The sixth edition of Whisky Live will be held over two days, not the usual one, come Nov 28-29. The festival has even swapped its venue to a swish location over at Capella Hotel in Sentosa and the organizers have promised that it'll be the biggest one yet, with some 500 bottlings and over 90 different whiskey and spirit brands represented.

So what's new? Well, this year's festival is debuting bottles from the Teeling Whiskey Distillery, a new Irish distillery in Dublin. They've also got special night packages that entitles you entry to the Collector Room (full of rare and very old bottlings), as well as an overnight stay in the hotel. The show has also roped in bars like 28 HongKong Street (of course), L'Aiglon, Tippling Club, Sugarhall, The Library and Anti:dote to shake up cocktails at pop-up bars.

And while you'll get to sample all sorts of whiskeys and whiskey-based cocktails, the food isn't forgotten with the likes of Burnt Ends, Meat Smith, Foc and El Mero Mero dishing out meats, tapas and Mexican classics. Plus, there will also be a collaboration between restaurants and bars to push out dish and cocktail pairings.

But just in case you're not into whiskey, the festival also has tasters of tequila, mezcal and rum—with a Velier rum masterclass by Luca Gargano.

Tickets are on sale now from Sistic or La Maison du Whisky. And it's not too late to grab early bird prices (until Sep 30) that start at $79 for a day pass or $134 for a two-day pass. There are also VIP packages, which entitles you to tasters from the Collector Drams and access into the VIP area and Collector Room, for $234, as well as the Night Packages for $990, which gets you a room at Capella.
