Through Sep 31, Hua Hin Golf Festival (www.huahingolf.com/golf-festival) offers the perfect excuse to play one or more rounds of golf at the many world-class golf courses in the area. There are 10 participating golf courses this year, including Springfield, Sea Pines, Banyan and Black Mountain. Green fees at participating golf courses are priced at a special B1,000 per round (except for Banyan and Black Mountain, where the green fee is set at B1,800) with an added B300 caddy fee.

Those who want to enjoy the whole package without the hassle of finding transportation, accommodation or places to eat can also sign up for the event’s special packages starting at B8,700 for a three-night stay and two rounds of golf. The package also includes accommodation, breakfast, round-trip transfers from Bangkok to Hua Hin, and transfers from the hotel to golf course. There are also larger packages, the biggest of which includes a 14-night stay with eight rounds of golf starting at B28,500.
