This CBD deli is hosting a hipster basement party later this month
And it's got bartenders shaking up craft cocktails, barber shop boys and tons of food truck-inspired grub.
The CBD is usually more work and less play, but new deli shop Koskos in Hong Leong Building is going to throw a basement party.
Opened by the folks behind SPRMRKT over at McCallum Street, Koskos is a takeaway restaurant with a range of deli sandwiches, muffins, salads, soups and street food truck-inspired dishes. The Beat the Rush Hour party (Jul 31, 6pm) has har cheong gai waffle cones, BBQ pork rolls and crayfish rolls (think along the lines of a lobster roll), as well as a bunch of dishes by the guys who run Arbite.
There are also cocktails by the Fordham & Grand team, bottles of craft beer and spiked sodas by Citizen Pop. To end it all on a sweet note, there are cakes and alcoholic marshmallows by Chef Sae Takagi. But the party doesn't stop there, the place is also bringing in the guys of Sultans of Shave who will be doing haircuts and shaves, all while DJs Mr. Has and weelikeme spin house beats until late at night.
