Singapore has the world's sixth most expensive beer prices
Surprise, surprise.
We all know a night out in Singapore can get pricey. But just how pricey? Well, we have just ranked as the world's sixth most expensive place to enjoy an ice cold beer, according to the newly released Beer Price Index.
While the world's most expensive beer is in Geneva with a 330ml can going for $14.50 in bars and an average of $8.51; Hong Kong is where you'll find Asia's most expensive pint at an average of $7.80. Singapore trails closely behind as Asia's second most expensive destination with a beer costing you $6.91—after factoring in bar and supermarket prices. Rounding off the top five are Tel Aviv, Oslo and New York.
