The local multi-label store's collaboration with K+ will feature new brands and an interactive workshop

Fans of the popular multi-label retailer Nana & Bird, which recently had to move out of their Tiong Bahru space at Eng Hoon Street, will be pleased to know that they will reopen at shopping mall Scotts Square (talk about an upgrade). It's a collaboration with K+, the hip new art and retail concept store spearheaded by design firm Kinetic, which recently launched the new local menswear label Faculty.

Nana & Bird's new 980 sq m space will feature permanent new collections from indie fashion labels like Cassey Gan, Yumumu and PB 0110. New at K+ will also be a workshop component, where selected classes will be held by local craftsmen offering various hands-on experiences. The first session will be held on July 2 with floral designers from Floral Obsession, K+'s resident florists.

Other workshops in the pipeline are calligraphy sessions and a sushi art demonstration by Tama Chan, who shapes rice and seaweed rolls into a range of designs from bite-sized cartoons of cats to famous portraits such as Edward Munch’s The Scream. How twee.
