De Burg moved out a while back, but the hole has finally been filled.

The famed high-end hawker in Bukit Merah Lane 1, Salut Coffeeshop, is home to stalls serving mussels in white wine sauce, German sausages, pastas and even duck confit. After Mian by the Traveling C.O.W stall moved out, a burger stall has moved in. Jack the Ripper flips homemade grilled burgers with huge patties, caramelized onions, cheese and even cheese-stuffed patties.

The stall is a collaboration between Absinthe's Nicholas Reynard and an existing German stall, Stew Kuche. Oddly, each burger has lady names, like Annie, which is oozing with spicy guacamole, jalapenos and roasted capsicum, and the signature Fairy Fay that comes with 150g patty, cheese and a special sauce.

Burgers start at $12 and go up to $24 for a double-layer patty.
