Aside from the 400+ brews, that is.

This year's Beerfest Asia takes place over four days on Jun 25-28, and the seventh edition has tons of new things in store.

The most exciting bit is that this year, there will be tasting portions for a very affordable $1-2. You'll get a cup that you can reuse throughout the day. Tasting portions start at 50ml and go up to 70ml, depending on the booth.

And speaking of booths, there will be some from Germany, America, the Czech Republic and elsewhere, showcasing over 400 beers, some of which are new to Singapore. Keep a special look out for the guys behind local restaurants Sabai and Longtail, who will be showcasing German beers brewed with water from Scandinavia. These beers come from Flensburger Brewery with the Dunkel and Gold styles showing this time round.

There's also a stall dedicated to craft cider made entirely with fresh fruits. On the roster are bottles of Revival Hard Apple and the Hallelujah Hopricot, which has apples, Belgian saison yeast and witbier spices with apricot juice. Other bottles to look forward to include Robinsons Brewery's Iron Trooper Maiden, a British ale developed by the lead singer of Iron Maiden, as well as Veltins' Grevensteiner Original, a cloudy, nutty and full-bodied beer from Germany.

On the music front, there will be more than 18 bands including Lez Zeppelin, an all-girl tribute band, as well as local bands like Rock Rosettes and Welcome to the Machine, a Pink Floyd tribute band.
