Starting Jun 2, those seeking to fly up north to Mae Sot have another option other than Nok Air. 

Kan Airlines (www.kanairlines.com) has opened up a new low-cost route that takes off from Don Muang airport.

To celebrate this new flight, the airlines is offering  passengers an introductory rate of just B990 one-way inclusive of a warm in-flight meal and a free checked bag weighing up to 15kg.

Although these planes won’t take off until June, you can already book your trip on their website. We don’t know how long this preliminary deal will last, but word is you should book early before the price suddenly shoots up.
