After releasing their first single “Ter Kue Rak” as a soundtrack for the sitcom Joot Nat Pob last month, rock band R9 has attracted over 400,000 views on YouTube. However, it’s not due to their newness so much as the long-awaited return of three of the former members of the still-active rock band Potato— Suwatin “Bom” Wattanavitukul, 36, Ratanapol “Win” Kengrien, 30, and Nantrakrai “Note” Chamjaiharn, 33. They’re joined by Narissarin “Fai” Janpraisri, 29. The band talks to BK about their reunion after nine years apart (hence R9).
