In 2010, the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture of Thailand, awarded her the Silpathorn Award. We caught up with Patama on her return from this year’s arcVision Prize in Milan, where she received an honorable mention in the Women and Architecture category, to discuss her lifelong obsession with houses, and why you should never call her a community architect.
