At the top of the table it was definitely a case of missed chances with none of the top three teams managing to capitalizes on other teams dropping points. On Saturday, third place Police United had their goalkeeper Patrakorn Tanganurat to thank for a goalless draw at home to second place Chonburi. Still league leaders also slipped up as they could only maintain their three point lead at the top after a surprising 0-0 draw with TTM FC Phichit.
The slip up did mean BEC Tero were able to close the gap on the top three after a scrappy but deserved 1-0 win at home to Pattaya United thanks to a goal from former Bradford City midfielder Chris Brandon. Army United also looked to recover some of their early season good form, running out comfortable 4-1 winners over Khon Kaen FC.
Muangthong United didn’t fare so well, showing they still don’t like travelling when they lost 1-0 away to Chiang Rai United, while Thai Port finished a turbulent couple of weeks with a pretty turbulent 2-1 away loss to bottom club Sri Racha FC that saw Port end the game with just 9 men.
