This May 17 sees the celebration of International Day Against Homophobia. Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT) all over the world. And here in Bangkok, the celebration starts with today's launch of 'We Are Rainbow' light installation at 6pm, whereby the BACC will be splashed in rainbow colors, aimed at raising awareness for LGBTI rights in Thailand, especially among the youth. But there's more you can do to take part in the campaign from now through May 19. 

Opening tonight (May 11) at Adler Subhashok Gallery are two exhibitions by pop-cutural artists from the Middle East, Life in Plastik and Poplitically Incorrect. Here, we speak to Eli Rezkallah, founder of Plastik Magazine, a very pop, visual arts magazine that has gained an international following for its glossy and colorful depiction of women, and Saint Hoax, a Middle Eastern artist known for colorful and controversial artworks. Both exhibitions run through Jun 12.
