Provence Le Restaurant
Formerly a white tablecloth joint, this French restaurant has been revamped with a new menu of rustic dishes meant for sharing and a casual inviting vibe. Light and fresh small plates like Brittany sardines escabeche-style and mint scented zucchini and feta cake really get the appetite going. And they are a great lead in to hearty mains like grilled Iberico pork pluma and chorizo pepper stew.
Formerly a white tablecloth joint, this French restaurant has been revamped with a new menu of rustic dishes meant for sharing and a casual inviting vibe. Light and fresh small plates like Brittany sardines escabeche-style ($15) and mint scented zucchini and feta cake ($15) really get the appetite going. And they are a great lead in to hearty mains like grilled Iberico pork pluma and chorizo pepper stew ($35)—cooked so it’s still nice and pink in the center—as well as pan roasted pigeon with red wild rice ($35). Of the desserts, the dark chocolate sin ($12)—a thin shelled chocolate tart—stands out for its molten center, and deep not too sweet cocoa flavor.
