Keong Saik's hot new resto serves up fusion plates with South Korean influences.

This stylish new contemporary Asian restaurant set in a shophouse along Chinatown's hippest street is helmed by South Korean head chef Sun Kim. The menu comprises gastronomic items with South Korean influences, like Wagyu tartare with egg jelly and Korean pear kimchi, oyster with pomelo and lemon and slow-cooked Tasmanian grass-fed beef short rib with parnip. There's also a eight-course degustation menu ($125), for those who'd like a proper tasting of his creations.

Meta doesn't just cater to meat eaters—herbivores can choose from a vegetarian menu, details of which are still being finalized now. The restaurant's full pastry (by pastry chef Tammy Mah) and cocktail menu (by bar manager Aloysius Chon) are also in the works.
