Mei Heong Yuen Dessert
Options are aplenty at this local Chinese dessert joint with offerings like glutinous rice balls, steamed milk pudding, herbal jelly and walnut paste. Try their incredibly light and fluffy Taiwanese snow ice dessert in almond and black sesame or Chendol flavors. They have bird nest too, but in limited quantity daily.
There are options aplenty at this very local Chinese dessert joint such as glutinous rice balls, steamed milk pudding, herbal jelly and walnut paste. But the real reason we come here is for their incredibly light and fluffy Taiwanese snow ice dessert which is akin to eating flavored snowflakes (tastes better than it sounds, we swear). Try the almond and black sesame combo or the marvelous Chendol—coconut flavored ice drizzled with gula melaka.
Have you tried the Chendol Snow Ice? It's one of I-S Magazine's 50 things to eat in Singapore before you die (2010).
