The people behind burger bar Fatboy’s has opened FatPapas, the halal version of the original, right beside Kampong Glam stalwart Blu Jaz Cafe.

Just like Fatboy's, the menu features value-for-money speciality burgers with beef, lamb and chicken options. Get the classic Wimpy (beef patties, fried egg, turkey bacon and BBQ sauce; $15), or try the new Black Peppercorn Burger ($13), for those who like a peppery kick to their burgers. Besides the usual mozzarella sticks and sweet potato fries, sides like chili chicken boners ($11.50) and BBQ beef ribs ($22) are welcomed new additions. The build-your-own-burger option remains as well.

To wash it all down, try the milkshakes that come with a variety of flavors including gula melaka (we're eyeing this one), coconut, mango and chocolate for $10 a cup.
