Then try a bombolone (Italian donut; $4) with fillings including cioccolato (chocolate) or macarons ($2.25/piece; $12/box) in flavors such as strawberry and aged balsamic, Amedei chocolate and chili and a unique squid ink macaron with mascarpone cheese and smoked salmon. It's also hard to go wrong with signatures like the Amalfi lemon tart (from $9) and ricotta cheesecake (from $9). They also stock goods like olive oils and balsamic vinegars (from $32), as well as sweets and chocolates (from $6) from one of Italy's oldest confectioneries, Pastiglie Leone.
