SINGAPORE RESTAURANT

Arakawa

Kushikatsu, sushi and sashimi all in one place at Odeon Towers, Arakawa's new menu has expanded.

Formerly kushikatsu—deep fried skewers (“kushi” means skewers and “katsu” means breadcrumbs)—specialist Han, Arakawa is helmed by the same chef Seiichiro Arakawa. Kushikatsu is still a highlight of the menu, which showcases sets like the 10-stick course ($95). Don’t miss the seasonal selection of skewers such as ohmi beef with truffle salt and tomato stuffed with cream cheese. But the new menu has expanded to also include sushi and sashimi, as well as affordable lunch sets (from $8). To go with your meal, there’s a good selection of sakes (from $45) and wines (from $55).
