It’s a simple, honest formula: good food, with great ingredients, in a clean, modern space. This wholesome fast food eatery looks the part: It’s casually cool and modern, the kind of place people might unwind on a weekend afternoon or snap open their laptops and sip coffee (which is good here). The menu focuses on two mainstays of western fast food, burgers and fish and chips, with a handful of salads, chicken burgers and sandwiches. It all looks tasty, and we’ll return to explore the menu again. We tried a Funky Porcini burger, a soft patty of prime beef with caramelized mushrooms, lettuce and tomatoes, topped with a creamy blue cheese sauce. Yummy. Another offering, The Don, took the same patty and cloaked it in salty Italian pancetta, topped with pesto, melted parmesan and sun dried tomato relish.
