Yellow Spoon Pastry
One of Bangkok's favorite bakeries opens a bigger, brighter cafe.
Yellow Spoon Pastry serves up satisfying, simple pastries with no use of margarine, artificial additives or preservatives. The space is tiny, so you’ll be rubbing shoulders with the Cordon Bleu graduate owner who whips everything up on-site. We recommend the salted caramel chocolate cake, the bread pudding with raisin and rum brioche or the apple rhubarb lattice pie. There are a few savory options, too, such as the caramelized onion quiche.
The bakery known for topping up the counter displays of cafes from Casa Lapin to Toby’s, Yellow Spoon Pastry has now moved from its tiny house into a bigger home down a hidden Ekkamai alley.
Homey creations like the famous favorite tangy lemon tart (B150), light yet stiff mascapone chocolate pie (B150), yogurt creme brulee with crumble (B180) and bite-sized canele (B400/15 pcs) are available both to eat in or takeaway with no minimum order.
Wash it down with slow-pressed fruity concoctions like Yellow (B140), a mix of guava, passion fruit and Chinese pear, or the banana strawberry smoothie (B140).
