Townhouse
Hong Kong’s fusion-forward diner lands at Siam Paragon.
The electric blue-and-pink glow of Siam Paragon’s Townhouse, will be familiar to anyone who’s dined on the original Hong Kong branch’s fusion egg waffles and inventive Asian flavor combos.
Founded in 2015 in Lang Kwai Fong, Townhouse has made its name from bold Asian fusion flavors that merge food cultures from around the region on a single plate—with the odd nod to Europe thrown in, too.
The Bangkok branch is no different, where HK cafe staples like egg waffles come pepped up with Italian Serrano ham (B140) and sweet waffles get a fruity Thai kick with mango ice cream and fresh mango (B220)—perfect with a steaming mug of coffee.
Heartier bites come in the form of Singaporean-style stir-fried noodles with lobster meat, Serrano ham and foie gras (B580) and robata-grilled pork neck with sambal sauce (B90).
The design work of Hong Kong-based architect Hugh Zimmerman sees cool neon lighting paired with lounge-y mustard sofas for a vibe thats light and relaxed during the day but cool and understated at night. Drop by in the evening for cocktails like the Golden Triangle (curry leaf-infused rum, peach liqueur, apricot brandy and ginger foam, B350). Teetotalers can also get creative drinks like the signature lemon iced tea (B90) served in an upside-down bottle over crushed ice.
