Pichakorn Ujjin and Wanravee Asvutmangkul, who for the past four years ran 77th Café at Nawamin Festival Walk, have now stepped out of the community mall environment for a standalone spot right behind Durakij Bandit University. Sevendays Café is a onestop chillout space offering coffee (from B77 for hot latte), pastries and serious meals. On the patisserie side, Wanravee bakes all the items daily—you can even watch her work by taking a seat on the second floor beside the transparent baking room. The sweet highlights include Queen B (B147), a hot fudge brownie topped with ice-cream, crumble, marshmallow and whipped cream, and Sevendays Honey Toast, served with seasonal fruit and ice cream made by the owners’ family (be sure to try the Very Berry and strawberry cheesecake flavors, too). Their home-style Thai food is also worth a try, like the baked pork rice served with boiled egg (B97).
