Rolling Ribs Brew Bar and BBQ

Make this place your next barbecue adventure.
The buzz: Thanks to the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest held in Tennessee every year, Memphis’s unique style of barbecue has been growing in fame and popularity. Lucky for us Bangkokians, we can get a taste of that minus the ridiculously long flight at Le Meridien Bangkok’s Rolling Ribs Brew Bar and BBQ.

The vibe: It’s half alfresco, half indoors; being a smokehouse that helps with the smoke and heat. This means you can take a seat inside with the air con close to Surawong Road and open windows. This is a casual place that serves seriously good grilled fare with a street vibe while keeping the comfort and treatments of a five-star hotel.

The food: If you’re dining with two friends, it’s highly recommended to get the All Star Combo Platter (B1,995) so you can try all of their signatures. The platter includes a half a rack of smoked pork spare ribs, slow smoked pulled pork shoulder, 200g cured beef brisket, half smoky organic barbeque chicken, two smoked sausages (one pork, one beef), and five sides: dry tangy slaw, corn on the cob, corn bread, baked potato, and potato wedges. They also offer three kinds of barbecue sauce: normal, tangy, and spicy.

Why we’d come back: If you love Billy’s Smokehouse in Ploenchit, or Smokin’ Pug in Lang Suan, you have to add this place to your must-try list for all your barbecue lovers.
