Rabbit in the Kitchen has taken over the space formerly occupied by iconic diner New Light (now on the 3/F).

The decades-old institution’s vintage decor has been replaced with generic wooden furniture and cutesy decorative items like mortars and coconut graters, which represent the Thai cuisine in the house.

Slide into their rice bar for some khao kluk namprik (rice with chili paste, starts from B75) for which you can choose your own toppings and meat.

Otherwise, try the comforting dishes like khao yam pak tai (rice salad in Southern style, B90) and yam bai chakram (spicy salad with seepweed leaf, B150).
