Man and the Figs

Sathorn gets a homey plant-based cafe

You may recognize this plant-based advocate from its stint in Phrom Phong’s Crane Cafe, but it now has its own shop-house in Sathorn. Ticking all the cafe-hopping boxes with its polished concrete, potted green plants, warm woods and white walls, the two-story opening serves a lunch-friendly, vegan-leaning menu.

Head there for crisp flatbread pizzas topped with organic figs, mushroom and truffle nut cheese (B220), warm soba salads (B160) and brekkie wraps (scrambled eggs, feta, mushroom and spinach with spicy espresso barbecue sauce; B150). Those with a need for traditional proteins can go for the smoked salmon toast (B180) with zucchini, red onion, pomegranate and homemade tzatziki on multigrain bread. The airy carrot cake (B120) is not to be missed, especially when paired with an almond milk iced latte (B105).
