Khum Hom

Issaya’s Ian Kittichai launches a health-focused Thai restaurant.

Celebrity chef Pongtawat “Ian Kittichai” Chalermkittichai, of homey Thai restaurant Issaya Siamese Club, has teamed up with Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort to roll out Khum Hom. Charting four regions of Thailand, the “Farmer’s Menu” utilizes locally sourced, organic ingredients in plant-based, gluten-free dishes like yum hed (B340) with hedgehog and king of oyster mushrooms, while the four-to-five-course “Tasting Menu” (from B1,990) features gaeng kua neua, a yellow curry simmered with beef short ribs; and house-special dessert som chun, bitter orange with lychee sorbet, crispy shallots and young ginger in sweet syrup.
