Holy Donut Paczkarnia

Forget about glazed rings and go for Polish donuts at Bangkok’s paczkarnia

Bangkok welcomes what is most likely its first-ever bakery devoted to Polish paczki in Holy Donut.

Specializing exclusively in Polish paczki (pronounced “pon-chkee”), which are sweeter, richer, and fluffier than most other donuts, the shop makes them the traditional way with a mix of sweet yeast dough, eggs, milk, butter, and a splash of the Polish vodka.

They’re not short on fillings. Options range from the popular strawberry glazed (B45), nutella (B75), and Bostonski (filled with hand-turned cream and dipped in European chocolate; B65) to the classic Polish krem mleczny (Polish-style vanilla milk cream, dusted with sugar; B55).

Holy Donut will officially open on Jun 1, but the bakery is currently taking online orders for next-day or, if you’re lucky enough, same-day delivery across Bangkok, as well as pick-up from the shop.

Be warned: Holy Donut makes just 150 pieces per day, and online pre-orders have been selling out days in advance.
