The people behind the popular Moroccan bar and restaurant Al Majlis have opened a new themed dining spot on the venue’s first floor.

Inspired by the novel Alice in Wonderland, The Hatter goes all out with decorations like clocks hanging from the ceiling, mad hatter’s teapots and cups, and colorful wall murals.

Here, they serve a broad range of comfort dishes, from spicy tom-yum river prawn spaghetti (B490) to penne foie gras with truffle cream sauce (B490). Another highlight is The Dodo (B450), duck breast stuffed with bread, chestnut and truffle served with sauteed vegetables and orange gravy. 

There are plenty of sweets, too, like Paint the Rose Red (B210), a white-rose cheesecake with mixed berries that comes with a paintbrush for you to apply the berry sauce yourself.
