Another cozy house in Ekkamai opens as a coffee shop.
From a sun-dappled, mid-century modern house that looks as much a furniture showroom as a cafe, a bevy of baristas work their magic on blends and single-origins from local roasting bigwigs like Bottomless and Roots. Cold brew, pourover and espresso meet chocolate drinks, green tea lattes and fruit shakes on a wide-raning menu. To go with, forget eggs Benedict and opt for one of the rich and spicy Thai rice bowls. Clock off from the working day with an "adult affogato," spiked with Grand Marnier.
Another cozy house on Ekkamai Soi 12 has opened as a coffee shop.
At Ekkamai Macchiato, all the drinks cost B100 including espresso-based coffee made using a Thai-Ethiopian-Brazilian blend from local roaster Bottomless and filter coffee using rotating single origins (currently Roots). They also offer chocolate drinks, green tea latte, iced tea and fruit shakes.
The second floor is open for group work space rental.
