BANGKOK RESTAURANT

Eiah-Sae

Possibly the last traditional Thai coffee shop in Bangkok.

We hope you like condensed milk in your coffee, because this 87-year-old Chinese cafe doesn't skimp on the calories. It also serves a wide range of Asian teas: lemon iced tea, traditional Thai black tea and Thai milk tea. All can be ordered with egg custard on toast, soft-boiled eggs or toast with butter, jam or chocolate spread. All the prices are tiny. And as for atmosphere, the place is packed with old grandpas chewing the fat.
