Bardo Social Bistro and Bar

This French bistro is Sathorn’s latest after-work hot spot.

Set on Sathorn Soi 10, Bardo Social Bistro and Bar is the CBD’s new after-work hangout spot. The venue welcomes you with checkered floors, counter bar seating, and green-painted walls that feature stellar artwork by French artist Kostar, who is known for his early 90s street art and intelligent humor .

The small menu plays on the seasonality of the Mediterranean with innovative bistro fare ideal for sharing with friends, colleagues, and family. Think bites like truffle tourton (beignet-like fritters made from potato, truffle, and Raclette cheese, B100/two) and the Juliette platter (B760), which offers three cheeses, three cold cuts, pork rillettes, summer rolls, tomato garlic toast, and chicken croquettes. Heartier dishes include the chicken Milanese (breaded chicken breast, fettuccine, and salad, B360) and flank steak with chimichurri sauce and cheese mashed potatoes (B650), while desserts combine flavors in dishes like the miso brownie (B150) or classic French flan caramel (B180).

Drinks are cleverly crafted in name and taste. For example, the Khaleesi (B320), made with Broker’s gin, dry vermouth, dragonfruit, lemongrass, and galangal, and El Bandido (B320), made with El Jimador blanco tequila, Pampelle (ruby red grapefruit aperitif), basil, jalapeno, lime, and spiced rum. Awesome drink deals—G&Ts from B150 on Friday; buy-one-get-one Negronis on Monday—give the upscale-casual spot staying power, too.
