BANGKOK RESTAURANT

Amsa Cafe & Grill

Silom's new lunch-friendly cafe specializes in rotisserie cicken.

Silom's new lunch-friendly cafe, Amsa, specializes in rotisserie chickens and kebabs marinated in Lebanese, Moroccan or Thai spices and served alongside a selection of cheese, spreads, dressings and vegetables.

There's plenty on the menu which stays around that all-important B250 mark for the lunch crowd—the chicken shawarma with flat breads sauces and pickles (B160) and Spirulina pasta chicken salad (B250) stand out straight away—but for a little more at B299 you can get a set menu that includes your choice of tapas (bruschetta, falafel, calamari and more), main course and house-made juice.

Or grab a whole chicken to share at B850 with tabouleh and toasted bread.

The space is small but clean and friendly, with plenty of seating on the mezzanine above the kitchen counter. And don't leave before trying the churros (B120).
