After six years working as a barista at Sydney’s Allpress Café, part of a chain of well-regarded coffee roasters throughout Australia and New Zealand, Thasanai Ploybut has brought his experience back to Bangkok and opened 39Espresso. 

The specialty here is Australian-style coffee, and Thasanai does a flat white at B60, as well as shots of espresso using both local and Australian beans for B55.

There’s also a range of green tea, Italian soda and homemade bakery items. Try the fudge brownies at B50.
