Located by the main Chaengwattana Road, this cafe by the Santichaikul sisters (Piraya, Pakkaporn and Panicha) began as a madeto-order bakery shop selling through Instagram (IG: Waft_ Me). The new, full-scale operation offers waffles, coffee and smoothies, as well as homemade patisseries (Pakkaporn “Mint” Santichaikul is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu). Highlights include the Wafger—a customizable waffle that lets you pick between plain, chocolate or wholewheat waffle, ice-cream flavors and topping (B155)—and the Chocolate Lava (B160), available with a choice of five different lava fillings, including the unfamiliar, slightly savory Thai tea. The shop also offers a short list of main dishes, including the Popeye Cheesy Burger (cheese and spinach bun, beef patty, egg and cheese, B195). Coffee is sourced from a Chiang Rai roaster, starting from B75 for a hot latte.
