The buzz: The owner of Cafe Bangrak, Kook Pacharawan, has founded a new yoga studio, aimed at both beginners and advanced yogis. She’s brought in her own professional Indian yoga mentor, Vivek Singh, to run the place, too. The Indian-loft style studio consists of two yoga rooms—and there’s no air-con so that your body temperature isn’t thrown out of whack. Also on-site is Yogi’s Spicy, which serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus.

 

The course: For beginners, they recommend the one-hour Hatha yoga classes to learn the basic poses. Beyond that, the studio also offers classes in Ashtanga, Alignment, and Flow Vinyasa yoga. The price is B3,900 per 12-class course.
